Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Pure Power Charcoal Face Wash and Proraso white
Razor: iKon 103
Blade: NOS Gillette Blue Extra 1963 (#2)
Brush: Vie Long Horse
Cream: Body Shop Maca Root

AS: Lab Series balm.

The Gillette Blue Extra worked well in the iKon 103, I did get two very tiny weepers that never came to anything.

Bulldog Face Wash
Omega Pro49
TOBS Sandalwood cream
Gillette New LC bar handle
Astra SP
A little alum, and
Proraso Aftershave Balm

Good shave tonight. Not easy for me - DFS on 2 passes but felt like I had to take a lot of care with my New in order to not nick myself. Still ended up with 1 weeper but I think my skin is just very uneven at the moment.

Feel like it's a closer shaver than my Tech or Tv Rocket across 2 passes but I couldn't chance the 3rd/touch ups I sometimes do. Definitely easier to cause irritation.

Blade: Gem #3
Razor: Gem MMOC
Soap: The Hand Made Soap Co. (Ireland) Basil, Lime & Sweet Orange
Brush: Simpsons Special Pure Badger 20mm
Post: Alum and Thayers Witch Hazel
Cologne: D R Harris Traditional

What a great shave this afternoon with the wonderful Gem MMOC. A very light touch is all that is required with this razor and the audibility is loud. You can hear every whisker being mowed down.

The soap is from a pass around and is my first use. I have my trepidations about this. I managed to whip up a decent lather by my tiny Simpson's work horse but the slickness and post shave feel was not there for me. There was enough cushion but to be honest it did not blow me away with its performance. Furthermore and for me most importantly the scent was no where near strong enough. I just wish some artizans would increase their scent profile. I am aware it is not for everyone but for me it is one of the most important factors. I like a scent that lasts beyond the shave.

Aside from my little rant I did enjoy it and have no cuts, weepers or burn to report. ;)

DR Harris is a lovely orange based cologne.

Enjoy your shaves. :)

Razor: GEM G-bar (on loan)
Razor blade: GEM SS
Brush: Maseto 24mm Silvertip
Bowl: Little Wren Pottery
Cream: Floris 89 (sample)
Post: Thayers witch hazel and Fine Platinum

Superb shave with the G-Bar on loan from @Blademonkey. Thank you Paul.
Smooth and very efficient. After 3 passes I only needed the very minimum of touch-ups.

The Floris 89 sample courtesy of @Acer89 was wiped up with ease with the Maseto. A brush which never fails to impress and amaze.

Finished off with the stunning Fine Platinum aftershave.

A fantastic shave.

Cheers
Rob

Evening Rob,

Lovely set up as always.

May I ask.

Is the Maseto pictured a 24mm Silvertip?
Finally, if so, What is the name of that particular model. I am loving the bloom on that.
These brushes cease to amaze me for the money

Great catch Rob. :)
