Over thirty days of SE shaves my DEs were feeling a bit neglected, so I caved in and reached for one of my favourites. Very nice shaver but it's no Cobra.
Also, I like my soap sticks and have seen this one get a lot of praise on here, so thought I would give a go. Not bad at all, the scent's better when lathered, it's nice and slick and good post shave feel.

Good Morning........

First time using the Boots Cool Cologne Lather Shave Cream. I have to say, it is an absolutely superb performer, nice creamy lather which is on par with the Nivea sensitive cream I have.

Razorock Hulk
Gibbs No 16
Rapira Super Stainless (3)
Ingram Shaving Cream
Boots Tea Tree WH, Myrsol Emulsion & 4711 Ice Cool Cologne

A somewhat mentolated shave to start the week and what a cracker it was, I do think this No 16 is a smoother shaver than the 17. The Ingram was a surprisingly good lather, not as slick or great post shave feel butusing a balm too it doesn't matter so much. Love the Ice Cool Cologne, it's a mentholated Nouveau Cologne.

Prep....Shower ~ Donkey Milk Soap
Razor....Rockwell 6C~Plate 6
Blade....Treet ~ Carbon
Soap....Vitos Cream ~ Tallow
Brush....Omega Italan Barber
Scuttle....Giles Shaving Co
Post....BBA Post Shave Balm
Scent....Amber Absoloute Tom Ford copy oil Mr Perfume

Razor kindly lent to me by @Wayne Pritchard , thanks mate. :)

After trying the number four plate I knew I had to step it up so went straight to plate six and found this was the plate for me.
It was the first time I've used a Treet Carbon DE blade and I must say thanks to @Norfolkdick for gifting these to me and wow, what a great shave I got from it, sharp and smooth......just how I like my blades :)
The Vitos cream was a dream to lather and produced a thick protective slick lather and it's got Tallow in it, what's not to like?
Kept wonderfuly warm throughout with the fab Giles Scuttle, perfect!
I had a really good shave, leaving me BB smooth with zero irritation.
Finnished off with a dab of BBA PSB followed by an aplication of Amber Absoloute....wonderful.

Whishing you all a happy Monday.....:)
Thank you for the Tag Paul. You are more than welcome mate.
Pleased to read you have found the right plate in the 6c for you.

I have a few Treet blades, I must give them a whirl.

Enjoy. :)

Monday 2nd October
YaQi Tuxedo
OSP Sandalwood
Rocnel SE-P OC
½ Nacet Stainless #1
Alum Wash
Duru Mandarin Cologne
Lacura Body Moisturiser

First time I've tried the Nacet blade (a pack kindly gifted by @newbie) and mightily pleased I did. They are really sharp and smooth, and suit the Rocnel well.
I'm close shaven and more than happy.

Proraso red top pre shave.
Proraso shea butter cream.
FOCUS r48 se with 3rd use Astra blade.
Gift of home made after shave cream, ingredients unknown.

This razor gives a smooth comfortable shave and almost one pass would do. The proraso cream gives a wodnertul shave, lathered directly on my face and there is almost no sensation if shaving. For some reason, I get 3 days or more from one half blade, whereas I felt the need to change a blade after 2 or three days use with my de razor.
I have no idea what is in the cream I use as an after shave cream, but it leaves my face very soft and hydrated.

I found the number 6 plate to be just perfect, very smooth and also very effective indeed. It's a cracking razor with a plate for everyone's needs. Try the Treet , very good indeed, not everyone likes them but it would be odd if they did. They may supprise you :) I shall use this blade again before trying a few other blades if that's ok with you Wayne. I don't know if I will be posting on SOTD again due to today's events but I will keep you informed via PM. Thanks mate. P.

You try as many blades as you wish Paul. I love your SOTD's and get loads of inspiration from them. I have learned so much from you as I am sure many other members here have.
Keep up the good work mate. :)
