Omega s10065 Syn.
De Vergulde hand
Mongoose B3
Feather Pro [ 4 ]
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion

After yesterdays abysmal Shave, I had to do better Today. This time included those vital ingredients- Time & Care. Picked the soap as despite being inexpensive I know it is very dependable and delivers a nice cushioning and slick lather.

Probably my best Shave so far with a Pro Blade, smooth and easy with a super close all round finish, really good in the awkward areas of the neck.

Despite only having 11 shave with the Mongoose, I rate it highly amongst my stable of razors and would not hesitate to use it for a Special Occasion Shave.

GEM 1912 Deluxe (1925)
Myrsol F./Extra

Nice shave, I've been struggling with my technique lately but managed minimal razor burn today.
Gotten back in to boar brushes so using my Semogues this week. Picked up the 1912 Deluxe sits on the main shelf but hadn't been used in a long time.
Love the smell of the F./Extra nice menthol kick too.

Brush: Maseto 26mm Silvertip Barber Handle
Razor: Merkur 34c HD
Blade: Gillette 7oclock yellow #1
Soap: Caties Bubbles Irish Coffee
Post: BBA Balm
Scent: Thierry Mugler Amen* Pure Coffee

For a rather damp and dreary day here I decided to go all out coffee for this evenings shave. :)

The Merkur was the beginning of the DE world for me (Thank you @patw , I have you to blame :D) and the rabbit hole that followed, I feel I have somewhat neglected it due to recent pass arounds and acquisitions.
I can appreciate this razor even more now I have a better technique than when I first started.
Paired up with the Gillette 7o'clock combating two days growth, I have had a very comfortable BBS 3 pass shave with a few touch ups.
This razors heavy weight and balance is outstanding and very forgiving. No cuts, nicks, weepers or burns.
I now know why it is considered to be up there as one of the best start up DE razors on the market.

Caties Bubbles Irish Coffee scent is pungent and lasts throughout the shave.
Whipped up and face lathered using the fabulous Maseto 26mm I was thrilled with its slickness and cushion.

BBA Balm and a generous spray of Amen* I feel relaxed and smelling good.

Enjoy your shaves!

Wayne.

PS: Have I ever told you that I like coffee? ;)

Great pic Wayne.

Greetings All,

Monday shave.

Two days' growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: Prorosa White pre-share
Soap: ES Sandalwood cream
Razor: Rockwell 6C (3P)
Blade: Shark (1st)
Brush:RazoRock 400 Noir

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, Alum another cold rinse followed by a shower then Proraso aftershave lotion (red) and Nivea 2 Phase.

What a joy!!!

2 passes (WTG and ATG – being brave or rather rushed shave – bloody alarm clock) and perfectly smooth. So yes, my love affair with the 6C continues.

New soaps arrived today – Razorock X, Razorock XX, Cello and Sweyn Forkbeard (Cedarwood & Sandalwood) – tomorrow should be interesting – WHICH ONE TO PICK

Don't be silly, your pics are just as good Paul. I love seeing everyone's SOTD pics they are the highlight of the forum for me. Honestly mine are really basic and easy to achieve. Thank you for the kind words though they are appreciated.
