PARADIGM/VOSKHOD :: DORIAN :: BARRISTER & MANN
Stunning photography Chris.
PARADIGM/VOSKHOD :: DORIAN :: BARRISTER & MANN
Stick with the Mixed Midget. It breaks in beautifully and generates great lather. It's my travel brush c/w Simpson's tube.
Brush: Omega 11047 'Mixed Midget'
Razor: Standard Razor
Blade: Voskhod (3)
Soap: PAA Coconut Oud
Post: Boots Tea Tree WH, Nivea 2 Phase & Ard Al Zaafaran Oud 24 Hours
After coveting this brush for years, not a bad first use a little scritchy and stinky. Needs to break in, I think more of a shave stick and face lather brush as oppsoed to a bowl lather. Absolutely love the scent of the Coconut Oud, just an ever so slightly hint of coconut but heavy on the oud. The Oud 24 hours complements it wonderfully. Not sure if I like a Voskhod with the Standard, good shaves but a few weepers today. Hope the weather is as nice elsewhere as it here in South Wales, off out to buy a small tree for the garden
Very nice Steve, glad your enjoying it, I know your good lady is pleased, she keeps telling mine.A very pleasant shave today using Taylors Sandalwood cream and a brand new Feather blade in a Jagger head with FKT Leopard handle. Not sure about the Wilkinson Sword brush, but it's the first time I have used so it may soften with age.
I still can't believe I am actually enjoying shaving after years of hating it. In no small part that is down to this forum. Thanks guys.

What do you think about the Blackand Sabre, is it everything you hoped it would be?Blackland Gem Razor

Aqua Velva Sensitive Balm

Olive Oil soap and Man Cave Olivestone Facial Scrub
NOS Old Spice Shave cream
Omega S10083 synthetic brush
Feather Portable with Treet Durasharp Carbon Blade (#2)
Alum Block
Naissance Aloe Vera Gel
Old Spice AS
The Feather Portable has always been one of my favourite travel razors....and for me..... 'knocks spots' off the Gillette Techs I have used. The Durasharps are incredibly sharp. They are cheap...so I usually bin after 2 shaves to avoid problems with rust.
3 Pass BBS and I am set for an afternoon horse riding in the Brecon Beacons.
Have a nice day everyone!
Blimey @vassili - you're brave wearing Herod in this weather. Great scent!Evening all.
Seriously needed a shave after a three day abstention. It was razorocks dead sea creams turn in the rotation, I forgot that this one needs very little water, so a little adjustment was needed (huge bowl of frothy stuff)
I didn't want to take chances on any old blade tonight so opted for one of my favourite, polsilver si, good choice.
The razorock soap provided a great smelling cushioning easy shave, three passes with a good close shave, a bit of irritation and two small weepers, but otherwise great.

Polsilver si blade #1

Razorock dead sea cream
