Its basically an HD with a different style TTO knob. mmmm might be able to knock those out on my little lathe.

Hi, 'C' was for the year 1957. as I never held the French one. Were the shaving heads different?

Date codes were for US made Gillettes, same head as other English rockets (694093) as the thread suggests.
