Yep - thirded - i have used Watch Obsession and they are very good@whitesix - I would second the recommendation for Watch Obsession - I use Hirsch natural rubber straps on my watch - bought from them - not the cheapest - but worth every penny - in my opinion. Also have a look at Watch Gecko - a huge range - my partner gets her NATO bands from them - I.

Hello Manstein; the question was really a general one BUT; for many many years I have been trying to get bespoke fine Lizard and Crocodile leather dress straps made for three watches that I own; based on the Hirch Brand; without success. Well, not exactly without success; Hirch have offered to make them for me; but at £375.00 each. The watches are probably worth around £100 each [Two Rotary Tanks (very thin in gold and silver) and one vintage gold Garrard; my Grandfather's retirement watch]. Unfortunately, Hirch would only come down to £1,050.00 for a job lot, but no further. Perhaps this price tag is reasonable, but it is around six times more than the standard Lizard straps indicated with Hirch's general catalogue. So I would be extremely grateful if anyone has any further suggestions on this specific matter.
NB: the reason I need the straps made is because I like to wear watches loose on my wrist and therefore need them made extra long AND the Garrard needs an open ended strap because it has fixed bars. Incidentally; this matter has been posted before, unfortunately without success, but this post is specifically for the watch aficionado; so fingers crossed!
I inherited the watch from my father and it had a hard life the winding clutch was slipping and some internal parts required replacement in effect a complete rebuild which cost approx £900. However in the unlikely event I sold the watch the Rolex service/repair certificate would probably add that value onto the resale. Datejusts are fairly common but for some reason the older the better value wise. Could we see a picture of the Rotary watches you mentioned in your previous post?Hello Manstein; lovely watch, plain simple and clear; how much do Rolex currently charge approximately for a clean/refurb?
Simplicity personified; simply the best! Apologies, it was from a distant posting, but what a piece!
Probably because there is no value in them; some other better images attached; but I still like them AND probably not as you state, fashionable; but always stylish! Have always liked the Tank; thought about the original Cartier Tank (manual); handed out, I believe, to the WW1 Captains and based on the tank for it's design, but found it just too small on my wrist; obviously considerably more cost than the Rotary.I cant understand why Rotary seem to have gone out of fashion as their watches especially the "Tank" style are excellent and not crazy money. I like the JLC looks like an "ultrathin". JLC are much higher in the pecking order of Swiss watchmaking than Rolex and other makes I have a Reverso Squadra which is a fairly big example.
I love my Dw5600. Absolutely great watches! Wear it every day.Daily driver for work and outdoors.
DW-5600E which i bought from the G-Shock Classic collection some years back, because it reminded me of the original i owned in the 80's.
Since then i have ended up wearing it a lot, because its light, comfortable and slim - absolutely love it

Yes, still the best G-Shock ever produced in my opinion, Despite it's phenomenal success over the years, very difficult to improve on the very original design;. Admittedly they have become bigger and flashier but not necessarily better.I love my Dw5600. Absolutely great watches! Wear it every day.
