Ahh sorry, I was under the impression the movement in your Glycine was 2824 derived but having now looked online I see it's a newer GMT ETA... Please disregard my last post.Trouble is though some of those movements wind the movement whilst setting the hands. The Glycine does. Not certain about the CW's. Great if you wear a watch daily or put them on a winder, that's debatable whether that is healthy for a watch anyway, depends which school of thought you believe.
That is a known issue with the ETA2824/Sellita SW200... Although technically capable of manual winding they should never actually be hand wound if at all possible... The ratchet wheel cannot handle it and shears teeth.

Best to shake them awake, winding via the rotor is much gentler on the gears than hand windingStrangely this issue is present on all the Swiss movements but not the 'A2824' Chinese clone of this movement, go figure
New crown tube?Back from repairs....

Last night as I was at a loose end before the Football. I decided to paint in the numbers on my Glycine Airman World Timer. Only a small thing ( where have I heard that before?) but for me it improves the overall look. I used modellers enamel paint, a tiny brush, a steady hand and my Thumb to remove the excess paint. Worked a treat. View attachment 110221
Thank you.Huge improvement IMO
