Wasn't sure I'd like this watch so I ordered one to try out, as it turns out I do, I have ordered a leather strap.View attachment 73142
It is a big watch, that’s the reason I was put off buying one. The case is 44mm but the lug to lug is 46mm allowing comfortable proportions even with my 6.5 inch wrist. This Steeldive watch has a few party tricks up it’s sleeve for it’s £104.99 price tag, the Lume is surprisingly good. it’s not as well made as a Seiko, but it’s more than good enough. The supplied straps ain’t no cop so I’ve orderd a leather one. That looks like a hubcap on your wrist!! That looks huge!!
I have this watch with a black face/white numerals but I think I prefer yours.
I did look at the black faced but this edged it for me. They are great watches, like the position of day and date.I have this watch with a black face/white numerals but I think I prefer yours.
As you mention, the fit and finish isn't perfectly polished, but it's a dependable watch with the Seiko NH35-A movementWasn't sure I'd like this watch so I ordered one to try out, as it turns out I do, I have ordered a leather strap.View attachment 73142
People have recommended the Steeldive to me for ages. With a price tag of £104 the lume is excellent, and as you've correctly said that seiko movement, cheep and easy to replace. I have ordered a mesh bracelet for it, I'm going g through a mesh strap fetish at the momentAs you mention, the fit and finish isn't perfectly polished, but it's a dependable watch with the Seiko NH35-A movement
This £30 Casio has one of the best mesh straps on any watch I've used with an excellent adjustable clasp. A pity its an odd
For the last 2 days I've been enjoying my Tisell "pilot watch" as they like to refer to it.View attachment 73508
