What is your go to AS if you've over done it?

If I have harsh feedback from the alum I know that I've over done it a bit with the shave and my go to AS to condition the skin after a harsh shave has been Old Spice Whitewater. It may not have the best or longest lasting scent but something about the product suits my skin, and I suspect that its the caster oil.

Having finished the bottle I was disappointed that my local Tesco no longer stocks it so if I'm down to sourcing it online I thought I would find out what other options there are. So what is your choice when you've gone overboard on a shave?

I like Trumper Sandalwood Skinfood.

Selin Turkish lemon cologne as a first hit lets sooth the skin I use this every shave. Then I may add a second as if I want a fragrance to linger for a little bit.

Myrsol f/extra. Always leaves my face feeling extra smooth and irritation/burn free. Not really sure of the scent, a bit powdery, and my wife always says I smell like an old man. I'm guessing the other flavours will be as good on the skin so just need to find the right one.

Like Rob I apply a very little Myrsol Emulsion. I usually have a bottle of Floris 89 balm in reserve which works also.

Veg will certainly 'bite' if you've overdone it! It soothes quickly after the initial 'aaargh' though.

Good old simple Nivea. I prefer the alcohol based blue topped one but I always have a couple of bottles of the sensitive on hand too.

Barbershop Bay Rum - I find it leaves my skin feeling better than anything else. Second place would go to Kiehl's Blue Astringent Herbal Lotion.

Also really like all the Myrsol flavours I've used.
