And here was me thinking you would be into the raw eggs in a pint of milk for breakfast

Tonight I've defrosted some of the chilli that I made last week, and am baking some bread to make fresh garlic bread. I'll do garlic and herb mushrooms as a starter and finish with tiramisu. My mouth's watering as I type this!
@Northern Saint - real, actual mutton? I keep saying I'll try cooking mutton one day. Lamb's my favourite meat. Maybe I'll have a chat with the butcher next week...
Northam Saint said:Yes real Mutton. i love lamb, especially in a curry. We have a great local butcher, he makes his own sausages and nearly everything is local. He knows us now and he's a really nice bloke.
I went in a few weeks ago and he had whole legs of lamb for £15. We had one and I boned and diced it and made a hairy biker curry. It was so nice I went back for another and he had none left. I was saying how I made a great curry and he said hold on I've just the thing and came back with a boned mutton leg. I was pleased as I have wanted to try mutton in a curry for a while and snapped it up. It was £17.90 which he rounded down and once trimmed it weighed on 2.5 kilos. It was just as tender as the Lamb

If you've got a chest freezer it's well worth searching out a sheep farmer. There's a few in South Devon so there must be a few in the North too.
Depending on the time of year you get spring lamb or a hogget (which is mutton-ish). It works out at fantastic value for money for all the different cuts\chops you get.
