Hi All,
Having a bit of a clear out of my stash - purging all the duplicates.
Today I have on offer three Gillette Slim's all of similar condition. Prices include UK postage, international post will be done @ cost.
H1 1962 - £20.00 - Pending amateur
L1 1966 - £20.00 - Pending Dandy
H3 1962 - £20.00 - pending press
All are in good working condition - both in terms of the adjuster & silo doors. I will try to mention all faults as I see them.
I have repainted the numbers on ALL of the razors.
Payment is by PayPal Gift or BACS (details on request). If you are interested in a razor, please REPLY to this post - I prefer to keep my sales open to prevent any misunderstandings.
First off is a the H 1 (first quarter of 1962). I'm looking for £20.00
The razor is in good condition.
- There is no brassing at all.
- The head of the razor is very bright (looks better than pictures)
Faults
- There is a minute alignment issue with one of the doors (I'm just being picky) 0.1mm
- The handle is a bit dull on the TTO opener.
- There is some light water spots on the top of the handle which I could not (reach to) polish out.
Other than the above, very tidy razor.
Next up we have L 1 which is the first quarter of 1966 - again £20.00
This razor is in in good condition.
- The head is very bright
- The metal work generally is in much brighter condition than the H1 above.
Faults:
- There is a tiny bit of plateloss on the handle - several spots, the largest being 1.5mm x1mm
- One corner of the guard bar does not quite line up 100% - it's probably 0.2mm, but I'm being fussy
Other than the above, very tidy razor.
Finally, we have the H3 - 1961 3rd Quarter - again £20.00
The razor is in good condition.
- The head is very bright
- The metal work is in generally good condition.
Faults:
- There is a tiny bit of plateloss on the handle - several spots, the largest being 0.5mm x1mm
- One corner of the guard bar does not quite line up 100% - it's probably 0.3mm, but I'm being fussy.
- There are some surface scratches on one end cap (nickel still intact).
