Bovril crisps were the business! (Smiths, I think). With Oxo (Golden Wonder) a close second!

Modern day Walkers Marmite don't come close.

I had forgotten Bovril crisps. Was there also a tomato or tomato sauce flavour?

I know that this next question exposes me to comedic response but wasn't there a cheesy balls snack?

Days gone by when your mother gave you a glass of dandelion and burdock and a bag of crisps as you sat down and watched Top Cat.

You're right! There was a tomato sauce flavoured crisp. I can't remember who made them. I recall I didn't like them though!
