Thayers Witch Hazel

I have been doing the OCM for a while now. I use a small plastic bottle with a press to open lid it easily dispenses the 10p amount into the palm of my hand.

No idea if your barmey or not. The OCM works, you might have to adjust your mix ratio.....

Sorry to revive an older thread, but I bought some Thayers Unscented Witch Hazel from the Successful Singing website (link in this thread).

I used it this morning, and found it to be fantastic. When it says unscented, it really is unscented. This will allow me to buy Colognes without having to buy a matching A/S. The Thayers really soothed the skin well too, so it is skin effective as well as cost effective. As far as Witch Hazels go, it is probably not the cheapest (£2.99 for 50ml), but you certainly don't need to apply much. I anticipate the bottle will last quite a while.

Also, I would certainly recommend the Successful Singing site. I ordered on Sunday, and the package arrived this morning. Considering it was a Bank Holiday weekend, this is a quick turnaround. The invoice was hand-signed by a lady called Helen, and a free writing pen was included (a basic pen with the company logo, but a very nice little extra).

True, didn't really want one but green cheese and all that. I found a pen belonging to the mechanic who serviced my car when I hoovered it this weekend, quite a nice rollerball one.

Could I use this with a cotton pad to wipe across my slightly damp face after a shave instead of splashing/spraying it on?

Really interested in the rose petal/rose water one.

Sonny, yes you could although I prefer spraying from a little travel bottle; makes it last for ages. The Rose scented version is very nice.

Nice one. Thanks buddy.

I'll try the spray method, it's just I don't like stuff dripping from my face and going near my eyes. I'm a bit peculiar like that.

Is the stuff from the singing shop ok to use as aftershave. My other half has annoyingly sensitive sinuses so I'm looking for an odourless A/S?

I personally think so, yes. Even their scented ones are pretty mild and light and don't linger like a chemical fart in a lift/elevator.
