Mikael, how did you get the hat to stay on the scales during the shave? :-D

Same set-p as yesterday except different cream and razor setting.
Gillette Fatboy on 5 and 7
1960s or 70s Gillette Platinum blade
St. James of London Founder's Reserve cedarwood and clarysage cream

Starting on 7 worked well. Dealt with a fair bit of the stubble without removing too much skin. NExt pass was on 5. TOuch ups also on 5 - probably dial that down to 3 next time.

I have a strong suspsicion I'll use the Fatboy tomorrow with a Polsilver, or even an Iridium.

Today's result: uber-close.

Finished with trumpers lime skin food then Boots aftershave balm.

A lovely shave today.I much prefer trumper's creams to the soap's,i always find the soap lather a bit dry no matter how much water i use and the cream is a lot slicker.

Merry xmas to you all

Mark

Nice to see an old friend make an appearance Mark. Makes me sad that I sold it. :icon_sad:

It got a rare outing today. It works brilliantly and the feeling of warm lather is a luxury but I hardly use it,now I am on holiday I will have to rectify that.I have just got too used to the ease of face lathering

Merry Xmas
