A very similar shave to yesterday, although i have managed to put the correct date in my text today.
I completed 2 passes WTG and ATG then buffed XTG on top lip and chin area for a spot on BBS finish.
I am finding it a very good combination of blade and razor.
A very nice Sunday morning shave leaving me feeling and smelling good.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All

PreShave: Warm to hot water, most from the boiled kettle some from the tap
Cream: OSP Vintage
Brush: Kent BK8
Bowl: My recycled T&H cream bowl
Razor: The Sledgehammer (Merkur 39C)
Blade Rapira – Platinum Lux (2)
Post Shave: Alum

Fragrance: Floris 71/72

Another shave with the Rapira – Platinum Lux blade (thanks to Digimonkey's generous PIF). Today's was smoother than yesterday's, but still a bit rougher than my liking. Hopefully, the improvements will continue, so I'll see what tomorrow's shave brings. I'll post the full (week's) review on Saturday.

Have the best week you can under the circumstances, and stay healthy!

SOTD 29th March
Pre - Bloom water
Brush - Omega S Brush
Soap - Wickhams Parma Violet
Razor - Parker 65r
Blade - Wizamet SI #3
Post - Barts Balm Lime

3 passes, no pickups, no irritation. A stunning shave that breezed through 3 days growth. I've grown to love this razor now after a rocky start. It works very smoothly and efficiently with my favoured blades and has amazing audible feedback. Great lather combination from brush and soap and finished with stunning Barts Balm Lime.
Stay safe everyone.

My theme for this most delightful shave was 'A most delightful shave'

IMG_20200328_211722.jpg

A delectable delightful razor - Brass General
A deliciously delightful blade - Schick Proline
A desirably delightful Bush - Razorock 400
A dreamingly delightful soap - Extro Arzachena
And some smelly stuff at the end

And yes it was. Absolutely delightful that is.

Just a short report today as work stands in the way of waffling. Time for tugging

'Well I hope it was as good for you as it wasn't for me. I couldn't even be bothered to take my coat off nevermind anything else'

Have a kind week ahead and wish you all and your families good health.

Sunday morning and this is the best you can give us?

Soap Tabac
Bowl Ceramic from kitchen
Brush Yaqi 26mm Rainbow
Razor Gillette Rocket HD
Blade Gillette WilkinsonSword 3rd
Post & Aftershave
Ice water
Thayers Cucumber with Oils mix
Clubman Whisky Woods
Amazing Tabac! Notwithstanding the unique scent, the lather quality is truly the best. Super slick and creamily thick.
Much more than expected...
Shave with razor and blade was very nice, comfy and smooth. Efficiency is less though. 4pass shave today with ATG, XTG/ATG & ATGx2. No weepers no irritation. Ice cold water rinse. Apply special Thayers which is aromatic and cooling from the teatree, lavender & peppermint oil. Top off with WhiskyWood. Good shave day! DFS result with rating of 9.5/10!

29/3/20

Soap - Proraso Green
Brush - Yaqi Rainbow/Faux Horse
Razor - Souplex Bakelite
Blade - Bic Platinum Chrome (2)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - Dapper Dan's Menthol and Eucalyptus
AS - Eyup Sabri Tobacco

A great shave today with the Souplex and Bic. I can't quite believe I hated the Bic blade so much the first few times I tried, I was quick to blame the blade but with my technique improving it's testament to how important it is.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday chaps.

@chard52142 That lather looks awesome. I struggle to get it like that with soap. I've been contemplating Tabac for years.
@SpeedyPC Cold water from the tap. I was forced into this once when no hot water was available. I decided if it happens again, I'll go without. Big respect.

Pre / Post - Trumpers Sandalwood Skin Food
Brush - New Forest
Razor - Merkur 34G
Blade - Wilkinson (3)
Cream - Sweyn Forkbeard Vanilla and Tobacco Leaf
Bowl - Executive shaving

First time using a bowl with this cream. I did notice between passes little holes appeared in the lather. You can see it in the picture. Nothing that a quick whip up didn't solve. Still seemed ok on the face. Nice pleasant shave.
