Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap,Antica Barbieria Colla Almond Oil Pre-Shave Cream
Brush: DR Harris H3 Best Badger
Soap: Haslinger Honig (tallow)
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Blade: Vintage NOS Gillette 'Swede'(3)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Antica Barbieria Colla Almond Oil Aftershave Milk
Scent: Le 3' Homme de Caron

Lovely comforting lather from the tallow Haslinger Honig. Dialed in the angle a little better second time out with the AS-D2; three passes and a few touch ups for a BBS result.
Finished off with Caron's terrific fougère fragrance - Le 3' Homme.

Pre-shave:- Argan Oil Soap
Bowl/Scuttle:- Earthenware shaving bowl
Brush:- Synthetic
Soap/Cream:- Palmolive Stick
Razor/Blade:- Wilkinson TTO and Dorco (9)
Post/After-shave: Cocoa Butter/Lotion
Fragrance:- Lacoste

Shave number 9 with the Wilkinson and a Dorco blade from Sainsburys.

Gone from bring a good shave on the previous outing to a terrible shave with this one, so its gone to the blade bank. Only other difference was that last shave was with King of Shaves Gel.

Next shave is Wilkinson Classic and a Topaz.

PS I do admire all the other exotic and foreign shaving stuff that the rest of the posters own and enjoy, one day............

Blades are cheap enough to only use for a few shaves
I wouldn't push any current DE blade beyond four shaves maximum

Soap - Signature Soaps Rose & Geranium
Brush - Yaqi Rainbow
Razor - Wilkinson Sword Classic
Blade - Big Ben (3)
Post - Witch Hazel
Balm - Nivea Cool Kick
AS - Akcay Tobacco

A really superb lather today with the Signatures Soaps Rose soap, but the combination of blade and razor wasn't the best. Even though it was just the 3rd shave with the blade, it should have binned on the 2nd but I couldn't be bothered to change the blade midshave. Managed to complete 2.5 passes without nicking myself so a minor success!

Anyway chaps, have a good day.

Broke out my Gem Micromatic Clogpruf this morning. It delivered a decent face shave. Did not use it for my daily dome shave. Rake style razors and the back of my head don't tend to do so well. My Vector delivered its usual effortless, BBS noggin scrape.

A nice close shave from 3 passes, i going to call time on the blade as it seemed to be struggling towards the end.
A very slick lather from the MWF and RR4.
Nothing from the block and a comfortable face feel.
Feeling & Smelling pretty good.
Have a great Day All

Prep : warm water
Razor : Fatip Grande Gentile
Brush : NOM boar
Blade : Supermax Super Stainless
Soap : De Vergulde Hand extra fris
Bowl : Aliexpress (MÜHLE look-a-like)
Alum : De Vergulde Hand
After shave : Tabac original

Second shave with the Supermax. Not bad at all. I'll keep using them for the next days to see how long they will last. Although that's totally unimportant at this price, 200 blades for €9,95.

Face lather
Parker 24C
Feather #3
Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
Fine Italian Citrus

A lovely smooth post-gym shave today. If anyone is looking for a decent soap on a budget, then Salter's provides it. The soap will also satisfy those for whom tallow is a functional prerequisite.

I tend towards vintage hardware; but every so often I use one of my contemporary fellows - a MÜHLE R41/iKon SS frankenrazor, or my Parker 24C. Today was the turn of the latter; and with a Feather in its cap, the business was well and truly delivered.

Razor: EJ 3one6
Blade: GSB (5)
Brush: Frank Shaving 28mm G4
Soap: Proraso Blue
Pre: Proraso White
ASL: Nivea Deep
ASB: Proraso Blue

I was interested to see how far I could push the GSB. This fifth shave was too much for it. Not really uncomfortable but lacked that characteristic smoothness.

I've had the Proraso Blue since my first venture in to traditional wet shaving and have only ever used it for testing brushes. I like the smell and was curious of its performance as I like the blue ASB. It provided plenty of slick lather. It has secured its place in the den (along with ~100 other soaps!).

Gem S/S ( 1 )
Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion

This is such a nice Razor to hold and wield whist shaving, but it is too mild for me.By working hard I get a good close finish around the face, but not as good around the neck.It might well suit those with lighter beard than mine.
