SOTD : Saturday 9 July - Friday 15 July 2022.

Whilst I've enjoyed the Chubby 2 Manchurian, it's not a brush I'd reach for regularly.
I'm glad it's been useful man, I would say I'm in the same boat but I reach for it relatively often, more to somehow justify the cost to myself. To others this might be the holy grail but to me it might be considered the pious sippy cup.

Now that you've got that out of your system and you have the spare cash you can restock the emporium for us all to enjoy ;)

Cheers

Marc

Amen to that!

Saturday 9th July

Omega S10077 - Weleda Cream - Pearl Flexi/Personna Lab Blue - Epsilon Blue Mediterranean - Deep EDT

Another excellent 3 pass shave from the Flexi on this beautiful sunny day.
Unfortunately ...... due to a touch of conjunctivitis......I would need welding goggles to comfortably set foot outside the door:(

09/07/22
Pre - Pears Transparent cold water face wash
Brush - Semogue SOC TAJ Boar
Soap - Proraso Green Eucalyptus & Menthol
Razor - Blackland Dart
Blade - Rapira Platinum LUX
Post - Alum Block, Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel
Balm - Proraso Green
A/S - Proraso Green
P7090002a.jpg
2 passes with the lightest of touches and high concentration produced an Uber-close comfortable shave today, i also decided on a very rare check with the Alum block which gave very little indication - spot on.
A nice cooling post shave with no indication from the splash.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.

Saturday

Bakelite boy today!

The bakelite Gillette Tech loaded with a Gillette Super Blue blade. Not that smooth, maybe the shine I managed on the top cap wasn't great, or the Apogee want that slick.

Don't think the Yaqui mysterious space brush helped today, just held the lather and didn't seem to transfer to my face. For the third pass, I had to use my hands to squeegee the soap out of the brush, it just held it in! Possibly my least favourite brush that I own!

Apogee not really a summer scent (IMO), maybe I will break the random selection and pick something I think is good for the hotter weather!

As for the razor, need to give it another run out tomorrow with a different soap.

Have a great day all

8818E58B-2DA6-4768-B235-40665D7A98C5.jpegWell An Absolute tremendous shave today.
A birthday shave at that.
Yesterday i was using Old Spice today but my colleagues at work bought me a little present all the Eucris & a Muhle Rocca & when it came through the post this morning i just had to use it.
Man what a scent. Absolutely top drawer and considering it’s original age it must have been away ahead of the game.
A lovely Refined masculine scent which iv never quite experienced before.
I wanted to use the Rocca but come on it just had to be the slim didn’t it, i mean I think money penny would approve.
Between this & Spanish leather it’s definitely up there with the best for sure.
Why we all strive for something different is beyond me as we have it all on our doorstep Well UK doorstep certainly.
The Brush for me is the softest knot iv ever experienced for a badger.
Bobby Moffat the Father of Robb
( Chisel & Hound ) does some tremendous handles & this Knot is first class,
Mind you i only picked it because it was black :ROFLMAO:
Pretty shallow i know but there you go.
I’m now at the Football & writing this before kick off
