Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/ Imperial Leather Bergamot & Sea Salt Energising Body Wash.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Rainbow Brown Synthetic. (Faux Horse)
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Monsavon Au Lait Shaving Soap.
Blade: Mers Supershave X Platinum. (1)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic Premium TTO.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Williams Aqua Velva ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

(Face & Head Shave)

A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend....Maiden combined head & face shave with the Wilkinson Sword Classic Premium TTO which is significantly more assertive than the King C. Gillette paired up the Mers SuperShave X Platinum which are manufactured in china made of Swedish steel. I'm pleasantly surprised by the performance of the WS Premium TTO this morning especially my head shave.

The Monsavon Au Lait along with MWF/Kent are some of my favourite shaving soaps. The post shave feel that both of these soaps gives is absolutely superb, making each shave I have with them a very enjoyable shaving experience.

A close efficient face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Excellent all around, nice chilled and silent house with the Mrs and the little one out at dance class. Left to my own thoughts for a bit, turns out I don't have many ;)

second attempt with this HSSC tobacco oud.

no matter how long I spent, there was a lump of soap that just wouldn't lather. I resisted the urge to add more water and went with it anyway. it looked silky on the brush but dried and flaked and it was dissipating and unusable by the end.

lovely scent but performance isn't there for me on this one unfortunately.

Started the shave with much too much soap on my face and the lather was way too thick. The second pass lather was, however, excellent. I had a reasonably close two pass shave with the Ambassador set to 2 for both passes.

I was a good Saturday morning shave, took my time and enjoyed the experience.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted (actually it was the end of January), as I’ve been travelling extensively for work. Twelve trips outside of the UK, 10 of which were inter-continental, and the vast majority of which were for two weeks or more. Enough was enough, so made a new deal at work, so the traveling is over. Unfortunately, as a result of what I had to do and where I was staying, I couldn’t use the trips as opportunities to acquire new shaving stuff—except for a couple dozen tucks of blades (today’s Bics are souvenirs).
