Well this was nice, after a hectic day out and about and then a few hours slaving over insurance law study books :sleep:it was nice to indulge in a relaxing shave before slobbing out on the sofa.

Simple ~ Sensitive Pure Soap Bar.


Brush: Wilkinson Sword Pure Bristle.


Bowl Lather.


Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.


Uber/Superlather : Nivea Men Originals Shave Cream + Wilkinson Sword Soap Bowl.


Blade: Gillette Winner. (2)


Razor: Wilkinson Sword "Classic".


Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade Lavender, eucalyptus + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Nivea Men ~ 2 Phase ASL.

A relaxing sunday morning shave.


Like a vast majority of UK tradtional wet shavers the wilkinson sword "classic" razor was one of my first introductory de razors when i entered the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving, It's a razor that i will always be proud to have in my den purely because of it's classic design, and durable usages.Both the wilkinson sword 'Classic' & 'premium TTO' razors are excellent daily or travel razors that have gave me socially acceptable comfortable irritation-free shaves with each outing. Paired together with a more aggressive blade,both of these ladies can be assertive...

Another enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men ~ Body Shaving Anti-Irritation ASLB.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling devine.;)

Post - Nivea 2 Phase Aftershave Lotion

Inspired by @Digimonkey SOTD , I went with a Nivea shave
The sensitive cream to my nose has a more pleasant scent than the Original, but they are both very good creams , the residual slickness and post shave feel are excellent - especially for the price (£1 per tube)
I don't need to waffle on about the virtues of the Game Changer and Silver Blue - both performed in harmony as usual
Finished with Nivea 2 Phase Aftershave. I always find this lotion a bit 'weird' when first applied, as it seems greasy and slippery, but dries very quickly. Anyway, it does a good job and doesn't smell bad either

I lost my AC SE virginity on my last shave. Half way through the shave I figured out that the Hawk needs a shallow angle or the shave is rough. The end result was ok but I'm not going to judge it based on the first shave.

Armed with the knowledge of the angle, this shave was much better. 3 passes and no touch-ups for a dolphin smooth finish. I think I'm going to enjoy this format. A lot of razor for £30 new as well!

The final part of my ramblings today - why is much never said about Mondial soaps? Like Extro they seem to fly under the radar but they smell great and perform brilliantly.
