Pre - Soap Free Face Wash
Soap - Palmolive/Lea Stick
Brush - Zenith B07
Razor - Wilkinson Sword Classic
Post - Witch Hazel/RSC
AS - Benjamin's Menthol Bay Rum

I had a few bits and pieces of a Lea Stick sample that were too crumbly to use on their own so I melded them into a tub I'd cut up some Palmolive sticks into before. On the face it was definitely more Palmolive than Lea but it produced a truly delightful lather. I'm really pleased I used a different technique with the Zenith B07, before I could barely get a decent lather with the brush and now it's an absolute joy to use.

I really enjoyed using the Arko shave stick last week but rubbing the stick straight onto my face wasn't the greatest. Taking the advice of others I grated the stick and pressed it into a small Tupperware bowl which worked perfectly - so well in fact that I've order more sticks that I'll grate and add.

The brush worked up a lather in seconds with the scent being something that takes me straight into my barbers chair! And no wonder they choose to use Arko - cheap as chips, pleasant scent and reasonably good performance.

It was simple to lather up and gave good protection and slickness when applied.

The Rockwell 6c has no problems whatsoever dealing with my stubble and a 3 pass shave was over in seconds with no errors.

Finishing with Thayers then a splash of Nivea 2 Phase has me dolphin smooth and skin feeling really fresh!

Have a great weekend folks! [emoji1303]

Saturday evening

Palmolive stick (grated into a small ramekin)
Omega Mixed Midget
Face lather
Gillette Aluminium Tech (England) late 1960s
Feather Hi Stainless #2
Alcolado Glacial splash

Travel kit this week, in the Canaries. I'm always bowled over with the performance of a shaving stick that costs round about 50p. Slick, cushiony and a great post-shave feel. A DFS with the Tech and a Feather in its cap. Smooth and suitably glacialised.
