This soap is nice! Pleasant scent, thick creamy, and slick lather...
A nice shave with this razor. Smooth and comfortable in 3passes without any issues for a ccs/sas result. The aftershaves were good...

SOTD 10-June

Brush: Chubby 2 Manchurian
Soap: MSC Black Tie
Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Feather HS (3)
Post: MSC Black Tie AS

Decent shave this morning, I have the attention span of a gnat so had to change it up for the next few. This is my favourite tech, being the weightier of the 3 I have in hand. Always get an excellent finish, I have a tendency to push a little too hard with the lighter efforts, being ham fisted it's one of those things.

Excellent finish and ready for Friday to kick off and the weekend to commence.

Hope everyone has a grand day!

Cheers

Marc

Prep: Shower, Palmolive Olive Oil Soap, 4711 shower gel
Soap: TDS Lilac
Brush: 24mm Yaqi Aqua Beaux Silvertip Premium synthetic
Razor: Parker 29L
Blade: Tiger (1)

First run out for this new razor. The handle is great - very tactile - and the head is similar to my Parker Interceptor. Slightly higher central bar, and a bigger blade gap though.
The Tiger was a good starting point to dial this razor in. I can tell that putting a Nacet or similar through on first outing would have been a mistake. I'll experiment, but I feel the Dorco Titan or Supermax Blue Diamonds are probably the right blades for this one.

The soft caress of the 26mm Phantom Aerolite copiously loaded with lather of the gods (Wickham Gothic Revival) made today's shave the best with the Pearl Flexi and that Personna Super, now on its 3rd run. That in spite of trying to shave and calm the Mrs down while she phoned me to moan about her job while I'm trying to get ready! I'll finish with bio oil and the matching GR splash thank you very much, a good precursor to the imminent weekend.

The rest of the week's worth.

Couple of nights away so travel stuff, then back home but still using the Falklands issue Tech. All shaves with the Perma sharp blade.

Whilst away, TOBS sandalwood, travel brush, skin food and a concoction of witch hazel splash and a sandalwood balm.

I have to compare the DG Apogee against the Signature Britannia as the setup was identical apart from the blade having an extra use for the Britannia.
The Britannia outperforms the Apogee in every department (IMHO). Plus, Mrs D really prefers the scent of the Britannia, so that's an all round winner.

Great end to the SoTD week!
