A new book called Thank You for Being Late is described as being, in part, a "celebration of everything old and slow." And that's me, old and slow and enjoying thoroughly my vintage shave this morning.

First outing for a newly acquired E3. I was going to wait for 2-3 days growth, but impatience...

This, like the G8, is a cracker of a wee razor. The lightest of touches (only one day's growth) with plenty protective lather from the 1912, resulted in a great finish. I'll definetly use it with more growth next time.

Ha ha! Yes, I did. And did you also know that I've been pronouncing it wrong all this time?! I thought it was pronounced "See-lee-ann" but the proper Scots Gaelic pronunciation is "Shellan" Now I know how to say it properly!!

Very close comfortable 3 ass shave tonight. Very happy with the Maggard Razor Orange Menthol soap and aftershave. The Gillette Flare Tip is and excellent razor. Nothing fancy just functional. The Lord Platinum is holding up very well.
