Easter egg-citing, shave

Prep - hot shower, lather face wash
Bowl - DSCosmetic green shaving bowl
Cream - Geo.F.Trumper Limes
Brush - Kent Infinity synthetic
Razor - Muhle R89 Twist
Blade - Rapira Super Stainless (3)
Post - lather remains face wash, cold rinse, alum block
Splash - Forest Fresh ASL
Balm - Nivea Sensitive Cool
Fragrance - CK IN2U EDT

It’s Easter, so I thought I’d get out my shaving equivalent of “the good biscuits”. In this case that’s Trumper, Muhle and Kent. Great choice for me, the only doubt being the Rapira on it’s third outing, fortunately it behaved itself and I had a wonderful feeling and smelling, smooth, close, comfortable shaving eggs-perience. A little alum sting tells me it’s a new blade next time.

Did I hear you say you were getting out “the good dog biscuits”?
Sort of, but I was talking about shaving stuff.
Oh, so no Markies or Bonio for me?
Oh alright, I’ll fetch some!
Yay!

Pre: Sainsbury's Tea Tree Cleansing Bar
Razor: Blackland Era L4 SB
Blade: Wilkinson Sword 'Super Sword-Edge' [5]
Soap: Extro - Il Conte di Puglia
Brush: EJ XL Synthetic
Post: Brut Sport

Despite an ultra slick soap, the blade struggled. Wilkinson Super Sword-Edge blades are so mixed in terms of performance. This one did fantastically well for the first three shaves; then cliff-edged.

My pleasure to enable you.

Pity I've gone back to Schicks recently, except I then realised I don't actually have any

1 April

Signature Soaps Capra Deva
Mühle Classic L
Feather AS-D1
Feather Hi-Stainless
Men’s Grooming Vetiver and Sandalwood balm

An excellent two pass shave. The blade feels like it has more than enough left for a fourth shave tomorrow and the soap… have I said before, this is the best.

Thank you so much. Best Regards Brian

1st April shave:

Pre shave: Anchor Spreadable
Pre-cum: Nigella - Mickrowarvee (mutton-but-I-still-would formula)
Shaving soap: Bearded Clam - Haddock Undertones
Brush: Basil Boom-Boom
Bowl: Julian & Sandy - Dolly Old Eke
Razor: Vivian Stanshall - Ginger Geezer
Blade: Gentle Giant - Playing the Game
Aftershave: McCoy Silvestre - Doctor Seven
Balm: Captain Beefheart Safe As Milk

A slow and steady shave this morning despite being in a hurry and getting it done very quickly.
I enjoyed all the elements of the shave this morning except the ones that I didn't. My facial hairs (both of them) are feeling crisp and dewy, and I am resplendent in post-shave glory but melancholic knowing I will not be able to shave again for almost an hour.
