It's s a very mild cologne like scent. Hard to describe but to my untrained nose almost smells like an original Gilette foam. One thing I will say is it seemed to take more product than I'd normally use to get a decent lather and while there was a slight menthol /cooling feeling, it wasnt on par with the green Porasso cream. Then again what can I expect for £1.59!What's the scent of the Boot cream like?
Correct me if I am wrong......I thought it was brushless??It's s a very mild cologne like scent. Hard to describe but to my untrained nose almost smells like an original Gilette foam. There used to be a brushless version in the Freshwood scent but the Cool Cologne is intended to be used with brushes. It's quite a wet cream though so needs a slightly greater amount of cream and less water to nail the lather.Correct me if I am wrong......I thought it was brushless??
Thanks for putting me right! I haven't bought anything from boots for ages! There used to be a brushless version in the Freshwood scent but the Cool Cologne is intended to be used with brushes. You could well be right. I reached straight for the brush and bowl like I would with any other cream... This could be where I'm going wrong with this particular cream. Wont need as much next time then . Thanks for that!Correct me if I am wrong......I thought it was brushless??
I had the same experience with the Bull Dog shave cream - then read the instructions "rub into beard" - ok for £2 sale price - will try that. You could well be right. Just seeing the above post now. Brush it is so probably wouldn't be a cream I'd buy again. Will go in my gym bag for a quick shave before work.
Haven't seen you around for a few days.......nice shave.....but I scrolled down to the 'Japanese Totty'. I think I need counselling! My ladies, my gentlemen and my fellow shavers, tonight I give you a shave all the way from Satan's own bathroom and the theme, 'Clown shoes'

'Jay and Silent Bob strike back'. Probably my favourite comedy film of all time. Produce a one hour script and make it last the duration of a one hour forty film by writing every other word as f*@k. I do adore sheer rubbish as I am an out and out junk culturist, plus I am trash.

And what has this to do with my SOTD? Absolutely nothing but here it is to make up for the lack of shaving content.
These Feather Super Professional blades are everything which defines a great SE shave and in True Feather tradition they have a half life shorter than Californium. After some four or five shaves it is already showing that typical Feather act of losing what started as a wonderful edge, whereas I can normally get at least ten plus from most others. Feathers? Clown shoes
Fortunately it still managed to produce a smooth shave but I just felt it was letting the side down in some ways. The stainless General is what it is. One fucking super razor. I must compare it to the new V2 one day but after only two weeks of ownership the V2 is already heading out for a loan.
The Captain Fawcett I swear is up there as a top soap in my little shaving world and the scent is right up my street, cul-de-sac, avenue or whatever else it may be. And the lather further up the M62 than I dare to think about.
End results were one wonderfully smooth and I don't do sexy shave.

But these ladies do and I consider myself a lucky man.
My contribution towards the support of the Japanese metal ladies benevolent fund for this evening
Have a wonderful week ahead everyone and I hope all and you families stay safe and healthy
I found the clown stuff more troubling - other than the fact that his back yard appears to be still being bombed by the Luftwaffe - coulrophobia - clowns are evil - the Japanese ladies? Should GCHQ ever pay attention to @Satanfriendly internet records - he's pumped. Ha ha. I.Haven't seen you around for a few days.......nice shave.....but I scrolled down to the 'Japanese Totty'.
