Razor - Gillette New OC

Post - Witch Hazel

First time using the Gillette New OC head Paul @pjgh very generously sent me, and there's no way I could assess a razor just after one use but my initial impressions of the razor are very favourable. It reminded me quite a lot of using a Old Type, but I found the New a more efficient and smooth, like with the Flat Bottom Tech I was sent, I can see the New becoming one of my favourite razor heads. A smooth and comfortable 2.5 pass shave today with a very pleasing lather as well, Brian's SS soaps always seem to produce a slick glossy lather with little to no bother.
Have a good day gents, I hope you enjoy the sunshine.
Hang on to your AS-D2, I let my one go and ended up regretting it a couple of years later and had to buy another one, you may fancy a DE shave sometime down the line. P.Razor : Feather AS-D2
Blade : Personna Med Prep (5)
Brush : MÜHLE Sophist STF
Soap : DR Harris 'Arlington'
Post : Homemade Witch Hazel with Tea Tree Oil and Lavender
A/S. : Paco Rabanne Pour Homme
Nice refreshing shave today using the Arlington soap and also washed my hair with their matching shampoo bar, great stuff. I am running down my stock of DE blades as now favouring SE razors, especially the Feather AC. I will decide whether to hang onto my AS-D2 or pass it on, still a very nice comfortable shave.
It has to be said, that's a lovely looking razor! P.Friday's Shave
Razor: Dovo Master
Brush: Shavemac 24mm Synthetic Fan
Soap: Baume.be
Pre: African Black Soap
Aftershave: Aqua Velva
ASB: Bart's Bergamot and Vanilla
EDT: CK Obsession
What a lovely shave the Baume.be is a fantastic cream , it doesn't produce vast volumes of lather but it produces a lovely layer that is both Slick and Adds Cushion, the Dovo Master is really shaving well which pleases me as it is one I reset and honed myself.
Have a great weekend everyone.
