Razor: Parker 98R.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Gummy ~ Traditional Lavender Turkish Cologne.

Nivea Men ~ Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm.

Greetings,

Another early morning shave.

Last use of the Trig silver edge blade which paired together with the 98R superbly mowing through my stubble with smooth efficency. The Derby stick provided me with a slick protective lather for the full shave wetting the the tips of the brush inbetween each pass.

The trig blade has performed wonderfully throughout the week with it's smooth sharp efficiency.

A very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men ~ Sensitive Cooling Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.
;)
;)

Enjoy your day, ladies & gentlemen.

Thur 27th June

RazoRock Syn. 24mm
P & B Pall Mall
Occams SE-V2 / No2 plate
Schick Proline [ 1 ]
Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion

For my 9th consecutive Shave with the Occams SE, I decided a change of blade was needed. I carried out Removal/Insertion by hand, and to be honest it was not a problem- in fact far quicker than most AC/SE Razors.

The Shave was smooth and comfortable as the Schick Proline is quite forgiving compared wth the Feather Pro,the overall finish quality being very good. Perhaps not as close as the Feather which gets so close that some discomfort is felt after
a few consecutive Shaves.

Shave Of The Day . 27th June

Prep ~ MWF soap
Razor ~ Rex - Ambassador set to 2.5
Blade ~ Wizamet Polsilver Stainless
Soap ~ Figaro P.160 Tipo Duro
Brush ~ Semogue Badger & Boar
Post ~ Bart's - Lavender aftershave lotion

A fantastic first shave from the Rex Ambassador paired with my favourite blade, close and comfortable with no issues of drag but I was using a top draw soap! :)

Have a great day folks.........P.

Thursday 27th June

Pears Glycerine Soap
Gentleman's Face Care Club Caribbean Lime Shaving Cream
Yaqi Barber Synthetic Brush
Turkish Copper Bowl
Univinlions Japanese Style with a Proline P
Witch Hazel
Dove Moisturiser
Old Spice Fresh Lime

The use of shavettes for an extended period of time definitely fine tunes technique.
2 passes and a touch up for a fantastic finish:)

Thursday 27th June

Soap - Proraso Green
Brush - Yaqi Barbershop Plissoft
Razor - Yaqi Old Type
Blade - Viking's Sword (2)
Post - Witch Hazel
AS - Benjamin's Bay Rum with Pimento

A really great shave with the Yaqi OT and Viking's Sword, smooth and comfortable. First time using the third type of Benjamin's Bay Rum which doesn't seem to react as favourably to my face as the other two variants.

27/6

Bulldog Original Face Wash, Bulldog Original Face Scrub

Cold water from tap
Proraso white preshave cream
Body Shop Maca Root and Aloe Shaving Cream
Body Shop Synthetic Brush

Merkur 37c
Voskhod (4)

Osma Alum Block
Pashana Original AS
Barts Balm Rosemary and Sandalwood ASB

The last couple of times I have used the Merkur/Voskhod combination it has not been very comfortable and has been a bit tuggy. In the past both the Merkur and Voskhods have been fine but I have never used in combination before. Maybe just a dodgy blade.
