SOTD: Saturday 22 July - Friday 28 July 2023.

SOTN (Head & Face)

Face - Blackland Era OC5, Noble Otter Rawr (soap & splash), Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade
Head - Leaf razor, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Treet Platinum saloon blades
SmilezforMilez Tuxedo knot brush
Permafrost synthetic coolant
Nivea Pro Sensitive Ultra Calming Balm

Second OC plate I've used, the first being the OC3 for the same razor. This was a good step more aggressive but also very efficient giving a great close shave. Couple of weepers and a bit of irritation but I lived to tell the tale. Not a plate I'd be likely to call on often but it'll be an interesting one that I look forward to mastering more when I fancy a change or challenge.

Razor/Blade #2 - Gillette Slim Twist/Dorco Titan (4)

Another shave with 5 days worth of growth. The Katana did the job as usual, as did the Slim for the second pass.

Nice shave.

And of course my previous report was from yesterday evening's shave as what else would you expect? So, to bring you up to date this present day's shave appears on your screens themed, 'Trimming bushes and other naked garden activities'

20230723_180034.jpg

Naked mower - Occams Enoch
Hedge trimmer - Schick Proline
Bush brush - Highlander LFC
Soapy bits - The Bath House Orange flower
Bloom in the buff balm - L'Occitane Cade
Peeled petal perfume - The Bath House Cuban Cedar

'Totally off his trolley you say?'
'Yes, correct'

A return to the Enoch after the bloodfest of its last outing. Would it improve or impale? Happy to say no weepers, no cuts, just one crap shave. To be honest I think the blade was already spent after its last disastrous performance where it managed more skin removal than bristle removing. A finish on par with a lawn and a bad bit of Bush trimming.

Still the division for lathering did a mighty fine job even if their co-partner gave a substandard performance. Mrs Satanfriendly noted the same of me.

No substandard performance from the RADICALS as they sing you out....

Soap & Aftershave Ariana & Evans Peach & Cognac
Brush BOTI 26mm Fan Silvertip
Razor Karve Brass SB-F
Blade Flying Eagle 1st Use
A nice lasting scent from this soap & matching splash. The lather whip-up by the excellent brush was good enough.
Today's top-quality razor paired with this unique blade provided a satisfyingly smooth, crisp, and comfortable 3-pass shave for a bbs finish. It seems like all the blades made in this Shangai factory are really good...
