Not much growth from yesterday's shave but went ahead with the shave nonetheless. The first pass was truly wonderful, I forgot Treet CS blades with a shave under the blade are a touch sharper and it was delightfully smooth and efficient paired with the Fat Handle Tech, my razor of choice for today's shave like @Scotshave, and I'm in agreement it's a great razor for those looking for to start with vintage razors, but I myself haven't bought any more razors since picking up mine.

soap - RazoRock - Emperor - tallow
post - witch hazel
a/s - RazoRock - Emperor
balm - Nivea Cool Gel Hidrante
scent - Hermes - Eau d'orange verte edt.

Result - a real good head and face shave. The RazoRock Emperor soap is my favourite Aventus 'tribute act' - for me slightly better than Fine Platinum - simply because my skin prefers the RR tallow soap base. Not much in it though. They both do the bright pineapple thing well - essential in a good Aventus copy. I've owned the original parfum - but it is not featured in the den at the moment. I have a rule of only ever having two bottles of Creed on the go at any one time - both for reasons of economy - and - more than that would indicate I had completely lost the plot as to the amount of shaving porn I own. The Indian blade is comfortably going to make it to ten uses - it is a bit less sharp than it was - fair enough - but remains extremely smooth in use. More shall be ordered - very good indeed - not in the absolute top tier - vintage Aussie Spoilers, Lodz Polsilvers or Iridium Super - but at the price - they don't have to be. So - job done - enjoy the weekend - and your shaves - yours - I.

Oh - it occurred as I typed the date for this post - tomorrows will be palindromic - and the only one this century that will work in both the British and American notation systems - by my calculation - 12/12/2121 will be the next. Not just another Sunday - but it will probably seem like it. As with the fact - as of today - I'm apparently no longer European. Further comment I shall not add.
