[Ferry-shave]

Pre-shave: Warm shower; Kiehl's face fuel.
Soap: Folk- Sandalwood & Vanilla.
Brush: Shavemac ' The Flat Top'.
Razor: Rex Envoy.
Blade: Gillette Nacet (Day 1).
Post: Swiss Pitralon and Bioaroma Aftershave Balm.
EDC: Geo F Trumpher Sandalwood.

The Nacet is a blade that has never quite worked for me; first use in the Envoy - felt smooth during the shave, post shave my skin felt slightly rough/scratchy. For me the Jury is still out.

The Rex Envoy is a work of art - solid build, feels good in the hand, decent smoothness and efficiency. I'm not quite sure yet what the best blade match is for me with this razor.

A 2 pass shave DFS+ finish, with no issues to report.

Quick shave to get on the road and wanted to reach for an old favourite. This 1960 Gillette Fatboy is one of two, the other being a 1959 I own. Great razor from a good friend in Texas.

RazoRock Gold is all citrus, warm spice, leather and Amber. What a great scent...I know I say that a lot...”great scent” but I don't have many that don't smell pretty good.

Dialled up to 5 the Fatboy had no issues getting smoothly through the beard. Nice and smooth and out the door with a little Prada for good measure.

Probably the best MWF shave to date, great post shave feel, but slickness still doesn't quite blow my socks off. I love this Eucris scent, lingers for ages, It's only a sample but lasting forever so will definitely be buying some when emptied.

Today I fitted a Schick Proline to a No3 plate on the Hiram for the first time , fitted easily and securely. I have had 8 good Shaves with a Feather Proguard on board. The Shave today was not only smooth and comfortable, but I was without any problems able to get a superbly close all round finish. Was so much better than many other Razors when working around the Jawline and Neck.
