Prep: Hot shower and wash with dove soap.
Brush: Grooming Co. Synthetic badger.
Soap: Whickhams Super Smooth Bay Rum.
Razor 1: KYOEI 5/8 Square point.
Razor 2: 1966 Gillette slim adjustable #4
Blade: Supermax Titanium coated. #2
Post: Benjamins Bay Rum with pimento.

Nice 3 pass shave with the KYOEI and touch ups with the Gillettte. The KYOEI did sink its tooth into the edge of my mouth just at the corner, not too bad though it had stopped bleeding by the end of the pass, thanks to a small piece of toilet roll. A few touch ups in the usual difficult areas with my adjusable and the Jobs done.
Finished off with a healthy spray of Benjamins bay rum and am very pleased with the end result.

Wish I could find out more information on this straight razor though.

Got an Ikon 102 Slant in the post at lunchtime and put it on a LAW handle - Lovely shave - its again quite a heavy set up and it mowed through minimal growth in a jiffy (I've done 4 BBSs on the trot this week and will need to skip a day just to get some growth up!)

A very rare Saturday off work so I dropped SWMBO off at work, took the dog for a walk and had some breakfast before enjoying my shave in a virtually empty house - Teenage son in bed so he wasn't going to stir until at least 11am!
