Sotd - yesterday Saturday the !4th and today - the 15th.

Prep - facial scrub
razor - Slim Aristocrat (4)

brush - Simpsons Chubby One - best
soap - Arran - Lochranza - vegetarian
post - rose water toner
a/s - LPL - Apricot

All good. I'd wanted to try this soap for a while - my best laconic review - it smells really nice and it comes in a pebble. Enjoy your shaves - one and all - I.

And this mighty fine Sunday morning brought with it a shave themed 'Lord Penhaligon and his shaving Empire take control of the shower room sink'

IMG_20191215_094454.jpg

Oh how a visit to an Outlet store can take over your life and the sink while at it. Even worse when the very nice ladies in the shop advise you Penhaligon's are opening a new establishment here in Liverpool. Oh dear. Oh dear.

Sir Christopher Bradley and his two edged carving implement - Karve 'C' plate
San Arthur Kentaro and his amazing sharp steel objects - Feather stainless
Maharajah Mervyn and his brush with death - Cadman Tuxedo 30mm synthetic
Court Barber Billy Penhligon's cream pie - Penhaligon's Bayolea soap
Following the cream pie with some splashing - Penhaligon's Bayolea aftershave

And the monkey of the blade really thought he could take over the empire of the sink.

The morning will come
When the sink is mine
Tomorrow belongs to Penhaligon's
Tomorrow belongs to Penhaligon's
Tomorrow belongs to Penhaligon's
Tomorrow belongs to Penhaligon's

I am not actually a great fan of Penhaligon's much beyond the Blenheim shaving cream but give me a nice chatty young lady in one of their shops and I am sucker punched. To be honest the Bayolea aftershave was a gift of a price and in reflection is actually one very nice scent and a perfect end to an otherwise superb three pass shave. The Feather worked fine and it was more of an attempt to step up an otherwise quite mild razor. Somehow though I would sooner sacrifice the slightly more aggressive stance of the Feather for the smooth ride of my usual reach for Lodz. The aftershave splash certainly was one of those grimace moments in life followed by a sharp intake of breath. Still sterling end results and I would love to say I am smoother than this lady...........but I'm not

Anyway time to sign off with a Christmas hit from those Japanese Techno Thrash Meal heads

Have a most wonderful week ahead people
