Greetings,

(Face & Head Shave)

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Last week I reacquainted myself with the Super Shave X Platinum and was pleasantly surprised how good the shaves that I have had with them This week I'm returning to the Statum Platinum Chrome another firm favourite Subcontinent DE blade pairing it up with with the Parker 55SL making another wonderfully smooth efficient razor/blade duo.

The Haslinger Aloe Vera soap is such a great performing nice mild fragranced shaving soap which my mature skin loves and creates an acceptable lather in a short space of time which doesn't dissipate or dry out in-between passes leaving a superb post shave feel.

I will carry on using the same hardware until the end of the month.

An invigorating cold water face and head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Firstly, what a lovely lather this morning and secondly, what a great shave. Two passes and all done. Third use of the blade and the shave doesn’t feel quite as close as the first, a change for tomorrow.

Saturday 13 January

Eclipse Red Ring
Floris
Rapira
No name boar bristle

BBS in one pass but a lot of pick up to and fro. Not a very well organised shave but this razor seems quite mild so not a problem.
Not bad for a 1930s razor. Red ring has long faded but the magnet at the end of the handle stick picks up a blade. I’m surprised that not more razor designers incorporated this feature as it’s very useful.

Have a great weekend fellas!
