I am serious when I state after having used both that Stirling Sheep is IMO better than MWF if not at minimum slicker. Yes, it does have a bit of a gamey smell as it's unscented, but look at it this way. If your father had not conquered that fear you wouldn't be here. :sick:

Somehow managed to post before I'd finished. So here it is, take 2

A new Signature soap and another great scent and another great lather. Does Brian ever produce a duff soap? because I've never met one. Substantially delivered by the very substantial Highlander brush.

Another day out with the Athena and once again a superbly smooth, comfortable and efficient shave. I do find it a little gentle by my usual standard but it still produces a very close shave and face feel factor. Brilliant. And I still love simply looking at it and thinking, quality, quality and quality.

A lovely shave and just what a Sunday demands. Perfect.

So from the Spice Girls to a Spiced Girl and the return of Midori. Come on, she must be on something....




And of course, have a great week ahead and more importantly, I love you all

I do want an Athena and I'm prepared to kick the restraint to the curb if one comes along.

Finally, I thought you knew better than to put Mandate on your face......

Today's lather whip-up by the excellent brush was fabulously rich, creamy, and very slick! The soap & matching splash scent is light but pleasant.
Today's shave with this razor freshly finished on the new hard black Arkansas with just water (dressed on 800 grit SiC). The edge was very comfortable and keener compared to the last use. It's been a while since this razor felt so good. I guess what's been said about the ark is true but I need to try it out more. 3 passes for a dfs-sas result...

Wonderful shave this morning, smooth finish, this razor is very efficient. If possible I would consider dropping to a level 2 to have it in play for everyday use. Could get away with every other day but it's a bit much otherwise.
