Reasonably smooth shave, although the 7 O'Clock blade is slightly dull on the 3rd day. First time with Proraso cream and it left the skin feeling a bit dry.

You should try them with a Merkur Futur. It gives a new meaning to close :icon_razz:

with excellent results! Definitely this Weber head is one of the best for getting close shaves without taking special care about pressing and angle like many others.

Schick M type adjustable injector/PAL stainless steel (NOS)
The Soap Opera Himalaya SS
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Malizia 'Vetyver' EdT

First time using this vintage blade and it's pretty good. Not as sharp as a few others, but still capable of providing a nice shave.

This morning:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap, cold
Razor: Filarmonica 14 Especial, just under 7/8"
Brush: Neep #1059 soapstone chubby 26mm super silvertip
Soap: Prof Blighty's Rosewood
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Rosewood

First time with this razor, and a very unusual three days' growth dealt with with panache. One of my closest every straight shaves, and utterly comfortable after the first scything of the long grass.

UKRob's made a great job of this - the ebony of the scales has real interest to it.
 
Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2
Razor: Bartmann
Soap: Dr Harris, Almond + Proraso
AS: Ogallala Limes and Peppercorns
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean :D
Well, todays SOTD gave me a good and clean cut, best in years actually and right under my lower lip (was thinking about my new job and my old boss and the meeting we where going to have). The blood was streaming down to my Adam's apple, but I sealed it up with some paper tissue and it must have been a really thin cut, since it closed very fast and nice after that :D

Not very close and quite sore. Not sure why. Started with a Tiger (used only once) in Slim Adjustable, then Rocket HD, then this Tech and all draggy and removed little hair. Chucked the Tiger (which I knew was fickle and only seems to like my Progress and o/c New at the moment) but had already done a bit of damage.

Even with this old blade a beautiful smooth irritation free shave in cold water. Really enjoying the size of Daz's handle (oooo er).
Still enjoying my straight razor break whilst my bloody cut heals, except now I look like a right tit with a tiny moustache growing!
