Hot splash

Weber/Pol
7 O'C Sharpedge
MWF F.L.
Finest Badger
Alum

Thought I'd try this blade after trying Permasharp. Not a good shave at all - lots of little nicks esp upper lip that took a while to stop bleeding. This blade felt aggressive in this razor and a poor shave. Bad Weber/Sharpedge!

Saturday:

Cella
Semogue SOC Boar
Long Comb New/JEC handle
Feather
Witch Hazel
T&H Trafalgar
Nivea Cool Kick ASB

Nice shave, smooth and comfortable. Rarely use Feathers except for with a Tech but they really are effective. I'm nearly out of the Trafalgar AS, this is one that will be replaced, it's great stuff.

Warm shower and chamomile glycerine soap
Proraso White pre - applied with the brush
Proraso Green soap whipped up in Suribachi
Brush: Kent Infinity Silvertex
Fat Boy and Polsilver SI (1)
First pass set at 6 - smoother than a car salesman on ice.
Second pass and clear -up set on 4.
Alum
Proraso Sensitive ASB

I wasn't taken with the Proraso Green; couldn't get a good creamy lather. However, after reading various posts on here I tried the following:
Put a small teaspoon of soap into the Suribachi
Used a synthetic brush, dipped into water and then lightly shaken
Swirled and dribbled for a full minute or more to turn the original foam into good, rich lather - far, far more than I needed. Result!
Can't say I'm gone on the scent though.

I couldn't understand the fuss on the lather or scent of this. Now I'm hooked and absolutely love the performance and scent. Between this and my Dr Harris - Windsor I'm set.

TOBS "Colombian Coffee" (thank you to those who voted)
Henk walnut silvertip
Open Comb New
Jianyu (Swordfish)
Vitos Classica cologne

Once three drops mixed in the cream it took on a nice creamy coffee smell (unsurprisingly) which has lingered on the skin (can't smell the Vitos after two minutes!)
Blade was a bit rough but not draggy in the Rotbart but excellent in the New.

GFT Coral Skin Food
GFT Rose Hard Soap
Men-U Brush
Gillette 58 Super Speed
Astra sp
GFT Milk of Flowers AS
GFT Curzon Cologne.

Very nice shave today. Not so sure about the Milk of Flowers it did a nice job
but not so keen on the fragrence but was soon killed off by the Curzon. Thank you

This morning:

Prep: Cold rinse
Razor: CJB kamisori, Feather Pro blade
Brush: Neep #1213 Aztec in malachite (29mm extra silvertip)
Soap: Prof Blighty's Rosewood

Very good. Slightly weird as I've never used a kamisori-style razor before, but no problems.

As usual with a brand new blade, I slightly savaged an empty toilet roll tube before starting to take the rawness of the edge.
