Soap was NSS Signature Patchouli & Lime.

A perfect shave - I AM A SHAVING GOD!

Friday:

Maybe I'm not ...

3rd shave with the Sam Seong and possibility my worst. I'm glad I'm not in the office today as my neck is very blotchy. I think the thick and grippy handle of the razor gives too much confidence. The folding Feather Artist Club tang is much thinner and less grippy so when I used that I was holding the razor more precisely and delicately and therefore used far less pressure. Back to DE tomorrow for a safe shave. The MLSW sample I received from Maggard's yesterday and it performs very well (like the other MLSW) and the scent is a great smokey smell like scented wood or a whisky.

Hand-carved Ash Boar
Arko Stick
Benjamin's Bay Rum
RSC Balm
Blue Stratos EdT

Much better today, thank goodness! I was getting worried there for a moment however, a change of blade and the slickness of Arko have done me proud. The cheapest aftershave I have ever bought (£8.62 for a litre) is fast becoming my favourite. It's great on the skin being neither too harsh or too weak to do its job, smells lovely and cheers me up.

12.30 Finish Friday, quick sandwich.

Relaxing shower
Nuage pre shave oil up
Ingram Cream
Chinese £2.65 Badger brush (better than my Semogue 1460)
Parker 96R
Gillette Blue Silver (1)
Nivea post shave sensitive balm
AS a mix of Beckham Instinct and some random oil that arrived with the 4711 I purchased

Nice shave a little aggressive but that seems to be the nature of the Parker.

Hilfiger check shirt over white T
Levi 527's
Base Suede moccasin boots
Oris Williams Chrono
Lets hit the shops !!!........ Bugger that's ruined the moment.

20th Nov.
Bad start to day, lost E Mail on Phone [new one], got it back having synched with Lap Top [ or so I thought ] Somehow locked access to server. This techno stuff is sometimes a bit beyond me , but I do polish my shoes without too much trouble.

The Shave went good, sticking with a Cream the 1924 delivered a smooth effortless shave , on blade use 5. Think on a new blade tomorrow, will revisit a Bullet Tip which I have not used for a while. Should be the right choice for an early morning shave, prior to quick weekend away.

Bulldog Face Wash
Wickham's Sheridan's Shaving Soap
Ever Ready 500BN w/Muhle Silvertip Fibre
Bigelow & Parkin & Voskhod Teflon Coated (1)
Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse & Alum Wash
Witch Hazel Toner
Brut Musk Aftershave
Inspired by Amouage Memoir Man (via Al Afdal)

Face Lathered
Two Pass - WTG & WTG (Slide)

Bigelow & Parkin make the safety razor equivalent of knuckle dusters!

Strange indeed to use a razor without a handle, but so intuitive to use. My only issue was loss of grip as the shaved soap spilled over onto my fingertips. Other than that, an eminently excellent razor.

SOTD - Friday
Pre: Village Barber oil
Soap: Dr. Jon's "Anne Bonny"
Brush: Shavemac 26mm 2-band silvertip
Razor: Black Mamba
Blade: Feather (3)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel followed by UK Barbershop Bay Rum
Fantastic shave again with the Black Mamba. Regretfully I had to give it back to its owner today.
I'll be on the lookout for one in the wild now.

Chinese Synthetic
Arko 'Cool' Cream
ER Featherweight w/GEM S/S #6
Alum rub - Rinse
Alcolado / Benjamins Bay Rum blend
Neutrogena Comfort Balm

What I didn't get:
A cooling effect from the 'Cool' cream.
Any cuts or irritation.

What I did get:
A lovely long lasting scent, loads of thick lather and super slickness / cushion from the cream.
A really close and easy shave from the Featherweight.
A last shave and a new Ceramic hob cleaner from the blade.
A great cooling Menthol / spice hit from my A/S blend.
