I obtained a T2 a couple of weeks ago and it really is a great wee brush.I added a T2 to my T3 a few weeks ago. The more I use these brushes the more impressed I am. If I was just starting wet shaving I wouldn’t dream of spending a small fortune on a badger brush. The present crop of synthetic brushes are all you need for a perfect shave. If you have scruples about cruelty to badgers you have your answer. If you are an addictive, obsessive collector carry on spending and enjoy your badger brushes. I’ll continue to use mine but the synths will be in the rotation too.
Mainly polyester. Simpsons presumably make them on the Isle of Man.Are the synthetic bristles plastic? Where are they made?

I have both....and in my opinion they use different fibres. I prefer the Soverign Fibre of the Trafalgar rangeDoes anyone have the Simfix to compare it against.I know it’s not expensive but I don’t want to get one if the only difference is the handle
Thanks for that. I might give one a tryI have both....and in my opinion they use different fibres. I prefer the Soverign Fibre of the Trafalgar range
Simfix is a horrible knot and nothing like the Soverign fibre - I re-knotted my Simfix with the Synbad knot and it totally changed and improved the brush tenfold.Does anyone have the Simfix to compare it against.I know it’s not expensive but I don’t want to get one if the only difference is the handle
