Monday

Monday blues lifted by a nice shave comprising, with no particular shape in mind, of the Fatboy and a nice new Derby cutting through a cushioning froth of slippy Arko.

Finished off with the usual alum and witch hazel with a nice colourful label.

Off to the bus stop and feeling on top of the world.

For 30 minutes.

Today is/was the most unproductive day of the year.

Same as yesterday. The lather from the Cade soap isn't making me go "WOW!" but it smells nice and does the job.

Got an amazingly smooth close shave today with my little old Gillette Single Ring freebie. Used a new Super Thin with as light a touch as possible. Who needs new razors?

Awaiting my new Muhle R41. For comparison and the interest of learning.

Purposely saying nothing about the shave here - I think being on day 3 with the blade tells a tale though (the Lasers from Wilkinson - the shop, not sword - couldn't go for 1 day...), will it push to 4 or more? Tune in tomorrow to find out :D

Back to the Muhle after the excitement of the weekend.

I have read, either here, or at another place, that it is more effective to use the AS prior to the ASB, so I have experimented; what a difference, wow!

Very good shave.
