Shave of the day W/C Saturday 23 July 2011

Been ages since I reported a shave on here so here goes!

Prep:- Hot shower

Music:- Radio 2

Soap:- MWF

Brush:- Men-U

Razor:- Bluebeards Revenge Scimitar

Blade:- Gillette 7 O'Clock yellow (new)

Post shave:- Original Source Soothing Shave Balm

All told it went pretty well! Lovely smooth shave, the Wool Fat lathered beautifully, I didn't miss any bits (don't you hate it when you find some stubble that you missed?)

Meeting some friends for a curry in a bit!:icon_biggrin:

No aftershave

What a great shave! Shouldn't expect anything less from such a good razor and such a good blade, but I was still impressed. I would have tried it sooner but I (we?) all have so many razors and blades

Haven't spoken to you for a while Carl, I hope your move went well, and you and your young lady are settling in nicely, good luck to you both, wishing you a happy future.

Feather
Vulfix Mix
RSC Cream
L'Oreal Balm
Gucci Sport EDT

The feather proved its worth by leaving a couple of nicks on the neck.....Nothing to worry about though....

Prep: Hot shower
Brush: New Forest, two band 2201
Razor: W&B, for barbers only
Soap: Martin de Candre
AS: Old Spice, Fresh Lime
Strop: Neil Miller
Result: Very clean :D

Two days of stubble and I needed one of the heavy guys. Pic from "our" British back yard, but the water in London is H A R D and it caused some problems for me, besides the fact I had to ultra load the brush.
