First time using a Red IP, I've used the Tesco/Boots personna and found these different, the Red IP is very smooth, I had a very comfortable 4 pass shave with a DFS had. The BS macca root is fantastic stuff used the last of my sample up, lucky I bought a tube of the stuff yesterday :shave .

Much better shave tonight - no irritation even though I attacked the trouble spots which always give me trouble! I kept almost everything the same as last night apart from the razor to make sure it wasn't down to the new cream or the AS balm. The New Regent is a lovely, non-aggressive little razor.

The closest shave I have ever had, A little discomfort on the sensitive parts of my neck but very very pleased with the result. First time using an Astra so next shave I might try the Astra with Tabac.

Makes a change, change is good sometimes.

Decided to calm the Fenton down a bit by gently rehoning on a coticule: that worked. An easygoing shave with a big bowl of lather, a glass of malt to hand and Blossom Dearie on the stereo - hmm, nice.

Prep: Wash face with glycerin soap, lather face massage, hot towel.
Soap: MWF.
Brush: Simpson Colonel 2 Band Super.
Razor: 13/16ths Filarmonica Doble Temple.
AS: Thayers Witch Hazel followed by Proraso Balm & Splash.

Excellent!!
