Decent shave today. Couple of nicks though. One on the chin, another on the neck. Not bad though. Think i had the same thing when i put a new Derby in last time, was fine for a few shaves after that.
Merkur 34c HD

Simple aftershave balm
Like i say, good shave, just a few nicks. My neck is alot smoother then normal aswell
A bit pushed for time this morning with having the added task of defrosting/desnowing 2 cars, so went for the Mach3. Passes; 1 up, 1 down and a bit of touch up - BBS in about 3.5 minutes.
Good. However I'm becoming too familiar with the Slant - its so mild I'm taking it for granted - so, I think a change of weaponry for tomorrow gentlemen.
When I first started using the 'Fat', I chose my Omega boar to lather up with, having read that soaps need a stiffer brush. I struggled with the boar (a decent brush otherwise), and soon discovered that a wetter-than-ususal badger did the job much better. In terms of skin-care/moisturising properties, MWF really is incredible. Never fails to induce periodic bouts of faceturbation.
