Disappointment of the day.
Wanted to try the new Stirling Dunshire and matching AS, probably did not do a proper pre-shave and used a too aggressive razor (Seygus)...
Ended up with a lot if irritation in the neck. Also managed to smash to pieces my alum...
The AS at least is very nice. Hope to enjoy more next time!

A delightful shave as always with the Hone. This soap smells amazing as does the aftershave, I just wish it was slightly longer lasting. The blade lasted well and was smooth until the end.

Thank you Chris, he is a massive miss from our lives, especially in the house, our Ruby is still looking for him around the house, in the garden and on our walks, bloody heartbreaking.

Tragic and a big loss, over time it will get easier. My sympathies to you all

National Package Protection Day

Ah, another month gone by. And now it's (past) time to get the packages into the mail.
The shaving cream made fabulous lather, nearly as good on my skin as the equivalent tallow-based soap and with more scent, and the razor continues to amaze. The aftershave has a very slight tackiness during drydown, not at all unpleasant, and it has the best gentle burn of any of my aftershaves.
