If you ever get a chance to smell the original Jacomo de Jacomo (purple letters) then prepare to be swept away with the most beautiful oakmoss opening of all time!! It doesn't last more than 10 or 15 mins., but it's worth it. The reform. version does not have that.

I absolutely adore oakmoss. It has a kinda catnip effect on me! I am very let down by synthetic oakmoss (really, can't smell it) but the real stuff gets me good. I have a sampler of current market JdJ and really like it - it is close to Superman, very much so. I will certainly look out for the older formulation and keep the details on my list.
