first shave of movember, blade pulling a bit, perhaps the lack of use by me has dulled my technique (what i had of it!) also a large amount of beard to be removed. went ok in the end. razor taken to work for a few laps on 1mic film.

Prep: Shower
Razor: GEM 1912 Baton handle
Blade: GEM Stainless Coated
Brush: Vulfix 404 Mixed
Soap: Derby Stick pressed into a container
Aftershave: Nivea Sensitive Balm

A brilliant silky smooth shave.

For some reason that I have never understood, this GEM 1912 gives a better shave than either of my other two Brit. Ever Ready's that both have what appear to be identical heads.

8 I think that was my 4th or 5th shave with this little razor. Fair dues, there's a load of plastic to go into landfill somewhere and destroy yet another tiny portion of this beautiful world .... but seriously, you should see how smooth my mush is.

Prep: Lukewarm bath
Ball end tech
Derby extra blade
Boots shave stick face lathered with body shop brush
Cold water shave (shower broke and out of hot water)
1 x WTG, 1 x XTG and 3rd pass of J hooking to tidy neck.
The result was nice and smooth no nicks or irritation. I'm not sure how???
 
Used a new to me open razor today. Different in that its named the" Black Demon"! From Germany. Strange in that aside from some devil spit; the blade nor the scales are Black!
Razor: Black Demon
Soap: TSD Desperado. Very fragrant soap. Ok for an open razor shave. One of the few soaps I've used that stays with you after shaving!
Brush: horse.
Razor could use a second honing but for an eBay find and it's maiden voyage, it wasn't that bad.

A little late, but never the less, a Halloween SOTD. We grow these little pumpkins and have them all around the house for months, some look really cool :D
