I remember you posted that hockey story a while back......pretty damn funny one. If I'm not mistaken, it was during the 1998 Olympics in Japan, that the 'mix up' took place. I believe you tried passing yourself off as the US hockey player Cammi Granato and was selling autographs on the street. Naughty, naughty. http://www.realwomeninsports.com/granato.php

Yeah, well, if hadn't been for my bald apparition they never would have captured me ... Seriously though, it actually was before the Olympics in Japan and it was at a release thing for the official hockey song/music that the team had been part in (yes, we record songs before big events, hockey IS a big thing over here). But that's another story, like I wrote before... I like how you think John, ahead and with the right halloween spirit :D

Proraso Pre/Post (Original formula)
Joseph Rodgers and Sons "The Norfolk Razor" in ivory
Kent BS10
Nanny's Gentleman's shaving soap - French Lavender
Nivea Replenishing Aftershave Balm

Big brush and lots of lavender lather, whats not to like.

Sunday Morning

Another new blade for me today, the Personna Red, I have been looking to try these for a while so took the opportunity to get 200 in BST last week. It turns out to be as good a blade as reported which is lucky as I have quite a few now.

Prep: Hot Shower
Brush: Neep 26mm Extra Silvertip in Kingfisher Burl
Cream: TOBS My Taylor
Razor: iKon OSS
Blade: Personna Red
A/S: TOBS Mr Taylor

Feather Popular Razor (800-1B) & Feather Blade
Wilkinson Sword Finest bristle Shaving Brush
Bluebeards Revenge Pre Shave Oil
Bee Fruity Handmade Nectarine and Honey Blossom Shaving Cream
Bluebeards Revenge Post Shave Balm
Steve Woodhead Studio handmade Shaving Bowl
Boots Freshwood Aftershave

First time with the new shaving cream which smells amazing and is very moisturising which is good. So much so that I used too much water on the brush and turned it into slush rather than foam (Less water tomorrow).

:icon_biggrin: I hope that comment made you smile

SUNDAY EVENING

Gillette Slim Twist
Polsilver (4)
Simpsons Emperor 2 2-band
GFT Sandalwood cream - scuttle lathered
Witch hazel
Castle Forbes AS balm

Another extremely close shave. I am liking this razor a lot!

I don't often post my daily shave but feel compelled to today.

I am usually a cream guy but used a lemon cedar soap today which provided a great slickness to the shave.
I have been using my R41 for 3 or 4 weeks so getting to grips with it. Today I had 3 days growth which I took down with 2 passes, WTG & ATG, using a Derby. The result was awesome, incredibly smooth and irritation free. I don't think I have ever had a better shave.

TOBS unscented shaving cream (fleabay)
Henk walnut silvertip
Fatboy (nickel plated) on 5, 3 with vintage English Gillette Super Stainless blade
Boots Freshwood aftershave lotion

Super smooth. Excellent. And remembered to leave the lip caterpillar behind

Back to work today at a new place, hope the other kids don't pick on me!

Muhle R89
Gillette Sharp Edge (1)
Semogue OC Boar
Lucky Tiger Shave Cream
Sudocreme
Nivea Cream
Brut EDT

Nice, took a bit to much of a sideburn, bugger!
