Brush: Semogue Owners Club Boar (Ash)
Razor: Merkur 34C HD (Bic 2nd use)
Soap: OSP Orange & Patchouli
A/S: OSP Orange & Patchouli

Been a while since I used an OSP Soap, finally got around to it in my rotation. Forgot how lovely the scent is and how easy it is to lather. I don't get as much orange from the soap as I do the splash. Quite enjoying using the 34C more regularly, it was my starter razor and I am wondering why I ended up buying so many razors over the years, this gives me a cracking shave.

First full shave with the newly arrived F. I'll agree that it doesn't shave as spectacularly as it looks but that would be virtually impossible. A beautifully balanced shave, maybe not quite as close as the I/twins combo but similarly comfortable, I'll choose this over the E and G any day.

Cool razor!.....I love the Featherweight. I have the ER from England and the GEM from the US. I did not know they made a Star. Something else to hunt for :)

Georgetown Pottery G20 scuttle
Rooney 3/1 Ebony Finest (22mm/48mm)
Penhaligon's Lords shaving soap (tallow)
Feather AS-D2/UFO Colibri
Wilkinson Light Brigade (3)
Penhaligon's Lords aftershave (vintage)

This soap makes wonderful lather. Occasionally I regret having sold my vintage jars of the matching shaving cream, because together they made superior superlather, but the soap by itself is great.

First shave for around 4-5 months since I've been travelling.

Prep - shower
Pre - none
Soap - La Toja stick
Blade - Gillette super thin
Brush - omega travel (can't remember the number)
Razor - dovo shavette
Post - Alum stick and a 1/2 and 1/2 mix of village barber and proraso green.

What a great shave it was!! Took a full beard of in one swipe. Went for a second touch up though it wasn't needed.

I made a little time lapse video you can see here (even if you don't have a twitter account.)

That beard came straight of.
Nice to put a face to a name
Happy travelling!

Pre Shave: Hot Shower, Bulldog Face Wash and Proraso Red
Razor: Merkur 45C
Blade: Rapira Super Stainless (#3)
Brush: Kent BLK4
Cream: Proraso Blue
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers unscented
AS: none

Another fine shave from the 45C I will happily be taking this next time I am away, but not the Rapira Super Stainless blades.

My Wednesday shave -

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's cold-tar soap and Proraso Sandalwood and Shea Butter Pre and Post Shave Cream.
Razor - Muhle Rocca R96.
Blade - Astra (green) SP (day 3).
Soap - Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap Red
Brush - Simpsons Duke 2.
Post shave - Proraso Sandalwood After Shave Lotion.

Very good results with the Proraso red, very close shave, with 2 passes.

All the best.
