Vulfix 404
Arko - Soap of the week
US Aristocrat
Rapira (2)

Village Barber ASB

Arko lathered up well, not too sure about the Rapira blades, still prefer 7 o'clocks.
The VB Balm seems ok as well.

.........but make sure you buy a second hand one. The new ones seem to have a few QC issues creeping in.

Today's Shave

BRUCKE 6/8
NSS French Lavender
Kent BK8 Brush
Old Spice

Result BSS WTG

Bit of a late shave today as I've been cleaning a coffee machine, Ive got someone interested in proper coffee making, they got a second hand machine for £25 but some twat put milk in the water boiler :mad::mad: it's working fine now

The shave was nice, this razor is the first straight I ever used, I never could get this razor sharp in the beginning the poor thing suffered my learning curve, it's all right now, swept my beard off my face without any trouble, a pleasing thing indeed.

Prep: Proraso White
Cream: Dr Harris - Windsor
Brush: NF Tubby 1
Razor: Weber DLC/UFO U2 - Polisilver Stainless
Post: Profs ASB mixed with 444

Nice shave this morning despite being very tired, just love windsors scent and performance:

Monday 20th May 2013
Prep: Shower
Razor: Schick L1
Blade: Gillette Twinjector NOS 1967
Brush: Turkish No. 6
Soap: Arko Stick grated into a container
Aftershave: Astral Cream (light)

I unreservedly withdraw what I originally said about these blades.

The first one I tried I have since discovered was badly damaged, which must have happened when I inserted it into the razor. This blade is perfect as is the shave that it gave me. A different sensation from a single injector blade but they are the sharpest injector blades I have tried. I still prefer the NOS Gillette Platinum Plus single injector blades because of the nicer feel they have on the face but for closeness of shave these really are at the top of the tree.

Regards
Dick.

Sunday Morning

Razor : Fatip
Blade : Rainbow
Cream : Palmolive
Brush : Omega 80080
splash : superdrug Forest Fresh

Found a Rainbow blade in the bottom of my stash so decided to use it. Not as nice in the Fatip as in the EJ, not quite as smooth, but a very good shave nonetheless. Not sure I'll be ordering anymore now that the last one has gone though.

Haven't used Palmolive cream in ages, forgot how nice it is.

Arko stick pressed into a bowl
Henk walnut silvertip
Rotbart 20 with Gillette 7:00 Sharp Edge
Superdrug Forest Fresh a/s

After a few not-so-good finishes (not close enough and some irritation) it's nice to get a really good one again.
