Sunday

Razor : Feather Popular
Blade : Supermax Stainless
Soap : C&E sandalwood
Brush : Omega 80080
Splash : Superdrug Forest Fresh

Nice shave, feels great this morning and the 2nd shave with the C&E sandalwood. Love the creams but this is the first soap I've used and only the 2nd hard soap after MWF - I seem to have a lack of hard soaps and this needs correcting. Very nice.

Afternoon, all.

Razor: EJDE89 with iKon Bulldog handle, shimmed
Blade: Super Max SS (2)

I feel the same way. Those are actually too much for me in anything other than the adjustable and even then they're still very unforgiving for some reason. There's other blades I prefer that are almost as sharp but more understanding of screw ups.

As you know, those Personnas are probably one of the most popular old blades, often selling for a few bucks each.

Been up in North Wales since Friday night working on the family cottage - rebuilding dry stone walls, digging drainage ditches and repainting an upstairs bedroom. Driving, horizontal rain and a fair chill - miserable conditions. Had a quick shower and a shave in the kitchen sink with a travel mirror. It feels good to be clean shaven having not bothered since Thursday.

If I'd just paid a little more respect to the fact that the Fatboy was on setting #7... this shave would be close to "as good as it gets". A touch too weepy and irritated... my own fault... but feels great now!
