-Balsam, the smaller size, I believe Martin calls it Deck SIze, used 7 times, 95%++ full

Now thats the really tough question....

I don't really know. Its very fresh, but not like menthol or lime fresh. A little flowery, but without you really being able to pin it on a flower. And then it has an earthy base, but not so that the scent gets heavy, its just there.

The scent is quite strong directly upon application, but as with all Martins products, this mellows out in about a half hour, and the scent stays approximately that strength for the better part of the day.

I would say that Martin has hit it spot on in his attempts to create a scent that does not smell of anything in particular. And over time it grows on you (or me that is).

Having thought about it since yesterday, I would say the scent is 'summery fresh', but not as you might suspect from the name 'marine fresh'
