Much interest in coffee here still?

I've been mostly drinking beans from Django in Manchester. May not suit everyone's tastes but he tends to favour natural or experimental process coffees and towards the lighter end of the roast scale. Not silly light, but light to medium. If you buy a kilo at a time it's very favourable pricing and over his generously low free shipping threshold. Plus he often has 30% off deals on overstock or to launch something.

A question to V60 ninja's.....is there any difference between bleached and unbleached filter papers in terms of taste?

I've always sort out and bought Hario bleached filters that are made in Japan. Without doubt there are cheaper available - especially the brown / natural / unbleached generic filters.

I'm not a coffee snob, just prefer filter over instant. Starting to believe I've have been over thinking my filter strategy ;)

I haven't noticed any difference tbh. I get bleached ones but have used unbleached before and can't tell the difference.
Someone who is really, really into coffee may be able to notice, but I just use pre ground lavazza and find it quite acceptable.
